Just a little something ...
A little procrastination sometimes pays off. When I'm not quite ready to buckle down and work, I choose a corner of the house to straighten so I can experience that rush of immediate gratification. Yesterday I seized upon a magazine rack (yes, I still love the luxury of turning a printed page) and started tossing out old catalogs (and trying NOT to shop!). I chanced upon an old Pottery Barn "At Home in Provence" catalog — dog-eared from use, of course. One favorite purchase were these soaps, the perfect ce petite cadeau. They are creamy, triple-milled soaps infused with a linen scent. Although I don't normally choose scented soaps, these little beauties were too adorable to pass up and the aroma is very gentle. And -- how cute! -- they are engraved on both sides with the French words for good morning (Bonjour) and good night (Bonne Nuit). Fantastique!
