French General

When asked to define my home style, I'd have to say it's the Paris Apartment look. Throw in a penchant for fleur de lys and Provencal colors you've just about nailed it. (And Eiffel Towers ... I truly need a 12-step program for Les Tour.) 

So it stands to reason that J'adore French General, which offers fabulous accoutrements to live the lifestyle (along with vintage linens and what-nots). I'm not much of a crafter, but I do adore Kaari Meng's blog, which allows me to vicariously live her decorative la vie Francais. And my fellow pinners on Pinterest offer a wealth of glorious images from the store and beyond. 

Even better beyond the armchair traveling? Spending a week in a French chateau doing crafty things and hitting local brocante. Well, maybe just the fun stuff, like the chateau, wine-drinking, and shopping part. The craft part? Well, let's just say that I'd do just about anything for a week among vintage textiles in France. So the bucket list is not complete without Girl's Guide to Paris.
