Welcome Back | The Apothecary Jar

Revisiting my blogging efforts after a tumultuous year or two means taking stock of all the changes (good and bad) that life has thrown my way. Essential Blends has always brought me and my stalwart fans joy (and scent). With new endeavors looming on the horizon, I hope for more scentsational progress as 2017 ends and 2018 opens my world to new possibilities.

Most exciting is my completion of certification in Holistic Spa Management from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Association (AHLEI), an International Spa Association (ISPA) internationally recognized credential. Completed through the American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS), this study augments my hands-on experience as a spa consultant and wellness editor who's visited scores of spas worldwide. 

But perhaps most important, it's given me a formal foundation to launch my mobile spa concept, The Scent Spa, an aromatherapy consulting, education, and services project built upon my aroma products business, Essential Blends Artisan Aromatherapy. 

On a side note, there are corgi memories and companions to keep me warm as fall turns into winter. My trusty sidekick and bon vivant, Elle, lies by my side as Millie once did. And cousin Tina has moved into the extra dog bed and the space in my heart. So pull up a cozy seat and join us as we share our aromatic life!
