Sweet Tart
After a harried week (or anytime I need to feel a little zip in my step), I pick up essential oil of Pink Grapefruit for a natural lift. Part of the citrus family of essential oils, Citrus Paradisi offers an uplifting burst of tartiness that makes any space a bit brighter. I often spray my kitchen with a dilution of distilled water, pink grapefruit, and lime — a zinger that just brings a smile to my face. (It's handy to keep around when you're traveling, as well. Nothing refreshes a stale hotel room like a few sprays of an uplifting citrus blend.) If you don't have access to the essential oil, drop a few pieces of fresh-peeled fruit sans seeds directly into your garbage disposal for a natural refresher.
