Tips, s'il vous plait!
What treasures I'm finding as I continue to unpack in the new maison! I'm a sucker for vintage porcelain, it's just I usually cannot afford it. French Garden House to the rescue (again), with this vintage French Bistro Tip Tray Dish. This one is especially spectacular (and collectable) because it has a pink stripe. (And j'adore the 8 Franc imprint!) From the early 1900s, it's by Pillivuyt & Cie, a porcelain maker in Mehun-Sur-Yevre (Cher), decorated for Léveillé Mabit, 33 Rue des Marais, Paris. I loved it so much I came back for another one with a lemon yellow rim. I cannot wait to find the perfect place to display these much-loved pieces.
